Conservation

The goal of our Conservation Program is to help diversify the outdoors by engaging our community members to advocate for the protection of public lands and increasing the educational and recreational opportunities for Latinx community members in the Coachella Valley.

Immigrant Integration

Since 2016, COFEM has maintained accreditation before the Department of Justice to provide immigration services to the immigrant community. Our efforts focus on helping our community to become citizens and renewal of green cards as well as work permits for DACA recipients.

Mental Health

The Mental Health program aims to improve awareness, accessibility, and the de-stigmatization of mental health in the Eastern Coachella Valley and Blythe.

Immigrants Are Los Angeles

The Immigrants Are Los Angeles campaign is a diverse initiative to build a just future for all. Even though immigrants help make this County the metropolis it is today, they have not been prioritized during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the American Rescue Plan, we have a historic opportunity to allocate new resources to our communities.

Nature for All

Nature for All works to build a diverse base of support for ensuring that everyone in the Los Angeles area - no matter where they live - has equitable access to the wide range of benefits that nature can provide.

Scholarships

Since 2008, with the intention of supporting brilliant and economically disadvantaged students, COFEM created a scholarship program and has been promoting the importance of higher education among students from immigrant backgrounds.
